Founded in 1865 in Le Locle by Georges Favre-Jacot, Zenith is one of the first Swiss manufactures to produce every component of its watches in-house. Renowned for the quality of its movements and constant innovation, Zenith is a benchmark name for those seeking high mechanical watchmaking, chronograph precision, and timeless design.
In 1969, Zenith changed the course of watchmaking history with the introduction of the famous El Primero caliber, the first integrated automatic chronograph capable of beating at 36,000 vibrations per hour. This movement, still in production today, is considered one of the best mechanical chronographs ever made.
It has also been used by other prestigious brands, such as Rolex for the Daytona ref. 16520.
