During the 1920s, Patek Philippe produced rectangular wristwatches of the highest quality, often in collaboration with the finest case makers of the time. Ed. Wenger SA was among the most important, renowned for technical excellence and refined execution. This example, manufactured in 1926 and sold only in 1936, represents an exceptional case: an elegant bi-color gold case combined with an original black dial personalized for Eberhard Milan. A watch that is not only rare, but historically significant, offering direct insight into Patek Philippe’s distribution and retail practices of the period.
